Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively market the Company’s cabinets to existing customers.
- Actively pursue new accounts.
- Prepare bids from blueprints and maintain bid sheets
- Field measure jobs; prepare and process cabinet orders
- Secure appropriate selections and/or instructions for each individual house.
- Communicate with builders regarding specific problems or issues.
- Communicate with Customer Service and Production Managers to resolve production and delivery issues quickly and efficiently.
- Inspect installations and products; arrange correction of any problems.
- Make minor repairs to installed cabinets when service technician or installer is unavailable.
Education / Skill Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor degree, (emphasis on marketing/business preferred.)
- 5-7 years of sales experience (Cabinet or construction industry experience preferred.)
- Must have a good understanding of cabinetry, installation and the mill process.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
- Must be able to recognize quality issues relating to manufacturing, installation and post-installation damage.
- Must demonstrate an ability to organize and process required paperwork and sales orders.
- Must possess basic math skills be able to read and interpret cabinet specification sheets.
- Must possess basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)
- Must be proficient in the use of 20-20 Design software.
