LOCAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE for DFW Distribution based in Dallas, Texas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively market the Company’s cabinets to existing customers.
  • Actively pursue new accounts.
  • Prepare bids from blueprints and maintain bid sheets
  • Field measure jobs; prepare and process cabinet orders
  • Secure appropriate selections and/or instructions for each individual house.
  • Communicate with builders regarding specific problems or issues.
  • Communicate with Customer Service and Production Managers to resolve production and delivery issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Inspect installations and products; arrange correction of any problems.
  • Make minor repairs to installed cabinets when service technician or installer is unavailable.

Education / Skill Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor degree, (emphasis on marketing/business preferred.)
  • 5-7 years of sales experience (Cabinet or construction industry experience preferred.)
  • Must have a good understanding of cabinetry, installation and the mill process.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Must be able to recognize quality issues relating to manufacturing, installation and post-installation damage.
  • Must demonstrate an ability to organize and process required paperwork and sales orders.
  • Must possess basic math skills be able to read and interpret cabinet specification sheets.
  • Must possess basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)
  • Must be proficient in the use of 20-20 Design software.
